INTO University Partnerships and Oregon State University (OSU) are observing the 15th anniversary of their partnership, a union that has significantly altered the educational journeys of international students worldwide.
Initiated in 2008, this collaboration was designed to extend OSU’s influence on a global scale and has been effective in providing a comprehensive array of academic support and services to international students. This includes direct entry and tailor-made preparatory courses across all undergraduate areas, alongside a wide selection of postgraduate programs, thereby positioning OSU within the top 1.4% of universities globally and among the top 20% in the US for graduate earning potential.
Positioned on the historic OSU campus, the INTO OSU Centre stands as a hub of academic and personal development, underpinned by the dedicated support of its staff and faculty.
This center, a pioneering model in the US, has been instrumental in the academic success of over 11,900 international students from more than 155 countries, helping them to excel in their chosen disciplines. INTO OSU-supported students have been represented across all 11 of OSU’s academic colleges at the doctoral level.
Edward Feser, Provost and Executive Vice President at Oregon State University and INTO OSU Board Member, remarked: “In 15 years of collaboration, the INTO Oregon State University partnership helped bring more than 12,000 international students to OSU. The partnership has consistently demonstrated exceptional student satisfaction and retention rates. With OSU’s introduction of International Direct Services in 2020, providing tailored academic and personal support to all international undergraduates in their initial year, the transition into their OSU degree programs has been greatly facilitated. Since the inception of INTO OSU, the retention rates for first-year students have impressively increased to 95%.
INTO University Partnerships has been at the forefront of connecting motivated international students with elite universities in the US, UK, and Australia. Since its founding in 2005, INTO has supported over 150,000 students from 180 countries in their pursuit of obtaining degrees from world-renowned universities.
