Billy Andy’s Bed and Breakfast Showcased on The Hotel Inspector

Billy Andy’s, a charming bed and breakfast nestled in County Antrim’s peaceful countryside, will be highlighted in the upcoming sixth episode of Channel 5’s The Hotel Inspector, set to air on Thursday, May 9th, 2024, at 21:00.

This enchanting B&B is located at 66 Browndod Road, Mounthill, close to Larne, making it a perfect base for tourists exploring Northern Ireland. The establishment is housed in a beautifully maintained 1800s-era building and lies conveniently near key attractions like the Larne ferry terminal, Belfast, and the stunning Causeway Coastal Route.

The episode features Alex Polizzi, a well-known figure in the hospitality industry, who visits Billy Andy’s to offer expert advice on how to improve guest experiences. Viewers will get an inside look at the day-to-day operations of a bed and breakfast and the common hurdles faced by such establishments.

In a notable turn of events, the establishment has been renamed to ‘Sixty Six’ since the filming of the episode. This change has sparked interest among fans and followers of the show, raising questions about the reasons behind the rebranding and whether it was suggested by The Hotel Inspector. The upcoming episode is expected to shed light on this transformation.

The episode will not only highlight Ms. Polizzi’s visit but will also feature experiences from select guests who stayed at the B&B, including travel writers and target customers. Among them is Stevie Haughey, founder of the popular travel website Ireland Before You Die

“Being a part of ‘The Hotel Inspector’ episode at Billy Andy was an honour and a surreal experience,” said Mr. Haughey. “My stay at Billy Andy’s in November 2023 offered me firsthand insight into their exceptional hospitality and the unique character of the site. Meeting Alex Polizzi was a highlight; she’s as charismatic in person as on TV and very approachable. She talked to me about her love for Belfast, her memorable previous visits, and her considerations for future business ventures in the city.”

Mr. Haughey also commented on the B&B’s renaming: “With the episode about to be broadcast and discovering the name change to Sixty Six online, I am intrigued. I’m eager to see if the episode will reveal the full story behind the name change. I can’t wait to watch it!”

This episode will be shown on Channel 5 on Thursday, May 9th 2024, at 21:00.
