Zelensky stated that “We are constantly working alongside partners” and that he expected “significant results in diplomacy this week after Sunday’s talks. This also refers to the G7 as well as the European Union.
Zelensky stated earlier that he had a “very important” conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron about “defence and energy” and “diplomacy” and that he had “very specific” talks and discussions with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdan regarding guaranteeing Ukraine’s exports of grain.
According to the White House, the US president informed his Ukrainian counterpart that the US prioritizes efforts to support Ukraine’s air defense through the assistance it offers.
Biden also expressed appreciation for “Mr. Zelensky’s openness to a just and peaceful peace based on fundamental principles enshrined under the United Nations Charter,” said she.
