Bray Wyatt returns to his old haunt with a twist. Abby, Huskus, Ramblin’ Rabbit, Mercy the Buzzard and Ramblin’ Rabbit all made their own appearances in a dusty edition of the children’s TV villain.
L.A. Knight arrived to tackle local talent ahead of the Fun House’s re-opening. He addressed the crowd and made a sweet promo on Wyatt.
The NXT veteran wondered what was going on inside his rival’s head, and hyped up the much-anticipated Pitch Black fight at the Royal Rumble on Jan 28.
Knight defeated Wyatt quickly after the bell rang.
After the match was over, Wyatt’s friends and a more serious Firefly Fun House version played before Wyatt returned to the set.
He tried to keep the party going despite bickering among his puppet mates about the Pitch Black Match. Ramblin’ Rabbit admitted that he was afraid in the dark.
Wyatt tells Knight it’s normal. He also mentions that dark things hide under your mattress. Knight is then warned.
Uncle Howdy interrupts, saying repeatedly “I told him so”, implying that “All it takes is a little push”, hinting at The Fiend’s imminent return.
White spoke with a different demeanor, “I hope that you are satisfied.” ‘I hope you understand.’ You are the one who opened that door.
He added, “Now whatever he’s going though is your problem.” See you at Royal Rumble.
It was a refreshing change to bring back the Fun House. We’ll be watching closely to see how Wyatt’s latest episode on SmackDown will play out.
WWE Smackdown airs Friday nights at 1AM on BT Sport 1.
