After watching Chris’ segment on the Beavers, Iolo made a jokey comment.

Chris Packham & Michaela Strachan did segment on beavers for Wednesday’s Show.

The name of the animals often elicits laughter at home. Iollo shared this with them when he took over as their manager: “Bismarck was mesmerized.”

The twin adventurers keep viewers amused and Twitter was quickly filled with comments about their latest.

Another commentator added: “Just fell asleep after hearing Iolo Williams’ #Winterwatch statement that he was ‘fascinated’ by your beaver.”

Even the official account for the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust said, “Bismarck was captivated.” Where are the @NoContxt watches, when you need them?”

It didn’t take long before viewers noticed the sassy double-meaning and took to Twitter for discussion.

Denise Welch, Loose Women panellist was among the first to comment.

The star wrote: “There’ll be a lot more beaver action next weekend. Also, we’ll see you next Tuesday! Fantastic. #Winterwatch”

She wasn’t alone, as one fan wrote: @ChrisGPackham spoke on #Winterwatch of a “beaver work weekend”. And she signed up for ‘CU next Tuesday ‘?!”.
