Three white men were arrested after allegedly assaulting two teenage blacks at a South African resort.
Bloemfontein’s Christmas Day incident, captured on video by W.J Subscribed on Twitterby a woman who claimed to be the victim’s sister. It has been viewed more 21 million times to date.
The footage shows a man choking, slapping, and impaling a teenager in a lock and into the pool. The violence prompted the leaders of the nation to make new demands for racism reform.

According to the teens, the attackers told them that Maselspoort Resort and Conference Center’s swimming pool was for whites only. New York times reports.
Johan Niel (33), and Jan Stefanus van der Westhuizen (47) were both arrested and charged with assault. An unidentified third person is being charged with attempted murder.
Kgokong Nakedi (18 years old) was one of the teens who were assaulted, his father Brian Nakedi said. times.
According to Mr Nakedi who was once an apartheid Underground fighter, his family made reservations at this resort for three nights to celebrate a post Covid reunification.
Nakdi explained that his family had booked into a section of the resort that featured chalets. But his 13-year-old nephew and son preferred to swim in a lake in a wooded camping site.
The resort’s guests told the teens that they could not be there.
Kgokong and the 13 year-old decide to go to a pool before alerting Mr. Nakedi.
Mr. Nakedi stated that he briefly explained to white guests that his nephews and sons were also guests at resort and then left the pool area believing that the situation was resolved.
Kgokong is stopped from entering the pool by the men locking the gate just moments later.
The teens continued to go to the pool, where many white guests jumped at the same time before violence broke out.
Kgokong said that as one of the men was holding him underwater, he muttered, “You are fighting for water. Now you are going to die.”
President Cyril Ramphosal issued condemnation statements.
Ramphosal said, “Under law, we must allow investigations run their course…but we can and should also declare that racism has absolutely no place in our society, and that racists have no place to hide.” Thank you, for everyone Times.
