Boris Johnson stated that the fight against climate change was “one the most significant collateral injuries” of Russia’s invasion in Ukraine. This is because it has caused some people to question whether it is wise to make a rapid shift towards renewable energy.

Johnson stated that it is not the right time to abandon the Net Zero campaign.
