After Lord Young of Grafham, a former Tory minister and businessman, died at the age of 90, tributes were posted on social media.

In 1985, he became Secretary of State of Operations. Two years later, he was named Minister of Commerce.
Lord Young was also the head of several companies including Cable & Wire, a telecommunications company.
Sir Peter Love, chairman of the National Lottery Heritage Trust, praised Lord Young’s pragmatism and “getting things done” in government. Paul Scully, London minister, said that Lord Young was his “political hero”.
David Cameron, the former Prime Minister, said: “In public office for over forty years and was a true champion business and enterprise around world, from thatcher government to mine. He was a thoughtful. kind and gentle man who I will be sorely missed.”
Cameron’s premiership saw Lord Young appointed as an enterprise adviser to small and medium business owners, but he resigned less then a month later.
The ex-minister was criticized after he claimed that Britons “never had this level” of quality during the “alleged slump”.
