In Britain, further weather warnings for snow/ice have been issued.
The Met Office has issued a National Amber Warning of Severe Weather due to heavy snowfall in Scotland.
Poul Gundersen, senior meteorologist, stated that the warning is in effect from 3:00 p.m. today to midnight because snow showers across northern highlands become heavy and extend across Grampian by the evening.”
