The United Kingdom will send battle tank to UkraineTo support the country in its war against it Russia.

The Prime Minister stated that the UK wanted “to step up our support” to Kiev as the first anniversary for the Russian invasion approached.
A Downing Street spokesperson stated that Sunak & Zelensky “reflect on the current Russian war in Ukraine,” where successive Ukrainian victories forced the Russian forces to retreat, and multiplied their moral and military problems.
“They agreed that it was necessary to seize this moment by accelerating international military and diplomatic support for Ukraine,” said the spokesman.
“The Prime Minister has stated the UK’s desire to support Ukraine more strongly, including through the provision Challenger 2 tanks and additional artillery equipment.”
This follows Poland’s offer for Ukraine to purchase Leopard tanks from them.
The Number 10 Spokesperson added: “The Prime Minister stressed that he and the entire UK government will work intensively with international partners to provide the kind of support that will allow Ukraine to press its advantage and win this war and secure a lasting peace.”
