“Disappointing outcome at the end the year,” he wrote. It’s time for us to get on with the next match. I just want you to know that Old Trafford will always hold a special place inside my heart. The @officialnffc fan base will also be very supportive.
The Red Devils remain fifth in the English Premier League. They have three points against Forest. Tottenham is one point behind them. A match is in hand with fourth-placed Forest.
Steve Cooper’s side is now 19th, but they are still very close at bottom of table. They are just one point behind West Ham (16th).
Cuper stated about Manchester’s defeat: “We never gave in to the game.” I have no issues with attitude and commitment. However, I do have problems with decision-making.
“The key factor is United were better than us tonight and deserved to win the game. We lacked the quality and, for my part, faith in moments when we could have made a difference. We need to improve on that.
