A heatingA heat element that provides the heat, while the fan distributes it around the food, allowing it to cook quickly.

Between the heat and the fan’s drying effect, food will become crunchy—and many people consider it a healthier way to prepare dinner.

How much does it cost?

The answer to this question will differ for everyone. Your tariff will determine how much you pay for electricity, as well as the size and efficiency of your device.

As with any deviceThe newer model will likely be more efficient and cheaper to operate than the old one.

Energy Air FryerThis measure is in watts. It determines how much energy your use and how much it costs.

However, the more powerful the device is, the faster it cooks food.

To calculate the cost of any device, you will need to use the following equation: cost = energy (kilowatts), x cost-per-kilowatt (pence), x time (one meal or more than one week or a whole month).

A little bit of the Cheaper modelsIt will usually consume about 900 watts.

To cook a perfect dinner, you’ll likely need it for around 20 minutes.

According to Uswitch, a 900-watt oven for 20 minutes would cost you about 10p per serving.

A 1500W air fryer will yield approximately 17p per serving.

Power supplier Utilita said the 4.4 liter air fryer costs £52 a year to run.

Is it less expensive than using an oven?

It’s not always true that your new gadget will make you more money. Sometimes it might help.

Ben Galizzi, energy specialist at Uswitch.com, stated: “Ovens can be an energy-intensive way to cook food, especially if you only use one of the shelves.

Air fryers are as efficient as ovens but cost less energy. They also take up less time to cook.

“While some ovens may take up to ten to reach the temperature, most air fryers can be ready in three minutes.”

Ovens don’t absorb the most energy in the home but they can use a lot of electricity if used frequently and for extended periods of time.

An air fryer is smaller and more efficient than a full-size oven. This means you can save money on your monthly bills and use the oven only for one cooking session.
