After hitting a pedestrian, an Audi smashed into a wall at a Jaguar dealership. A mother and child were both killed.
After Monday’s “tragic accident” in Leeds, a man believed to be the driver was arrested.
Officers were summoned to the Vertu Jaguar Leeds dealership at Scott Hall Street shortly after 8:30 AM.
The car crashed into a wall and both the mother as well as the child were injured. They both died shortly after the crash.
Audi driver being treated for injuries that are not life-threatening but serious.
Witnesses of the disaster were asked to come forward to West Yorkshire Police.
Detective Paul Conroy stated: “This is an extremely tragic event, and we are working with the family of the mother and child involved.
We have already spoken with a number witnesses but would love to speak to anyone who witnessed the same collision or any of the events that led up to it.
We ask that anyone who was present in the area at the time this collision occurred verify their dashcam footage.
