Luxury holidays in Europe needn’t come at a steep price – that’s the key takeaway from Kinglike Concierge’s newly released 2025 European Budget Luxury Travel Index, which ranks destinations offering five-star experiences at reasonable rates for American travellers.
Greece comes out on top, offering an entire week of luxury – including return business class flights, luxury accommodation, rejuvenating spa sessions, and Michelin-starred dining – for just $1,329 per person.
The research looked at 20 leading European travel destinations, assessing costs across key luxury categories including flights from JFK (New York), five-star hotel stays, high-end spa treatments, and Michelin-level cuisine.
The study clearly shows that luxury and value can go hand-in-hand with the right destination.
Top Five Destinations for Affordable Luxury in Europe:
- Greece – $1,329
- Spain – $1,529
- Germany – $1,638
- Italy – $1,666
- UK – $1,926
Greece leads thanks to its scenic beauty, historic charm, and competitive prices for luxury experiences. Spain and Germany closely follow with affordable options for premium accommodation and food. Notably, Turkey delivers some of the lowest costs with five-star hotels at $330 per week and spa sessions for just $22.
While Malta offers the cheapest Michelin-starred meals at $133 per person, it surprisingly tops the chart as the most expensive overall destination, costing $4,296 per person for a week.
