Catherine RyanShe stated that she will not discuss allegations of predatory “sexual assault” with other women in order to protect them.
In June, the comedian revealed that she called out a man in the entertainment industry. He called him “predatory” to his face.
She accused a female colleague, while working on a popular TV program, of being a sexual predator. She later claimed the person, which she refuses, was an “open-secret”.
Talking to Louis TherouxKatherine spoke about the allegations in a series interview and stated that they are true. “It’s dangerous for us to have this conversation.”.
She has now spoken out via social media and said that she will not be drawn into these allegations.
In a statement she posted to the website, she said that “In my original context, this was about my experiences and the shared experiences with my colleagues who faced an ethical dilemma of whether to accept a job when they think you’re going work with creeps.” Friday’s Instagram post.
I have made the decision to settle down. It’s nice to talk about the experience, even if I’m not trying to “put out”, or name anyone. But then, they didn’t want me to name him.”
Instead, she stated that she was asked to name the women who could have been victims of the man’s actions.
“That they [the media]They want the names of women so they can call them, press them, and print their stories.
These women are not to be disturbed. I won’t discuss this again, so please don’t ask.
Lewis was adamant that we have seen what happens when people talk about predators.
Katherine stated that she is not a victim to this man and that “it’s her story not to tell.”
“No one has committed any sexual assault against me, but this person, I strongly believe — a lot of people believe strongly — is an open secret, and he is the perpetrator of the sexual assault.”
