A Scottish band featuring a prominent transgender woman released a new song. It includes a callout for transgender women Harry Potter author JK Rowling.

Comfort is a Glasgow-based duo led by Natalie. Her new track, Real Woman sees Natalie as – as you might guess from the title – as real as any woman.

Natalie sings in the song that she “never cared as much about what’s between me legs”, but jokes that she doesn’t blame them because “I don’t blame them, they think I fit in too.”

The music video shows him pretending to use the urinal while singing “I’m an adult female human male” and then she continues with “I’m as real as Rowling”, which refers to the author. Controversial comments about the transgender community.

Natalie raised her head and revealed two photos of Natalie, 57 years old, covering her nipples.

Comfort’s forthcoming album Wha’s Bad Enough will release the new song as the lead single. It is due for release in May.

Recent years have seen Rowling come under fire for her controversial comments regarding the transgender community. This includes criticism of an article published in 2020 that refers to ‘people who are menstruating’ rather than women.

The author provoked backlash from the LGBTQ+ community last year when she supported a protest against Gender Recognition Reform Bill. She called it “the biggest assault upon the rights of Scottish women or girls”.

Rowling launched a new support program in Scotland for women who have suffered sexual violence or abuse. She said that she created it “to meet what I believe is an unmet need for women living in the Lothians”.

‘like A survivor of sexual abuse myselfI understand how crucial it is for survivors to have the option of receiving women-centered or women-delivered care in such vulnerable times.

The launch occurred shortly before the Scottish government’s final vote on plans for reforming the Gender Recognition Act. This law would allow people to identify as their gender, rather than receive a medical diagnosis.

Rowling vocally opposed it, but he vetoed it It has since been banned by Westminster.

Rowling’s views were met with mixed reactions by the stars of Harry Potter films. Daniel Radcliffe, the lead actor in Harry Potter, stated that he wanted LGBTQ youth to understand that not everyone in the series feels the same way.

Emma Watson f Rupert GrintRadcliffe joined him in supporting the transgender community, while he criticised Voldemort’s representative Ralph Fiennes. the abuse she received.
