Last year I discovered an app that saved me almost £50 on my mobile phone bills.

It’s so wonderful that for some months, I didn’t have to pay anything to my network.

The app is called Airtime bonuses.

Although it’s been around for some time, I find that many people don’t know much about it – even considering the cost of living crisis.

It’s basically a cashback app which detects when you shop at certain retailers using your bank card.

There is more to it.

Here are some ways to save money.

What are Airtime Reward Points?

Airtime Rewards is a cashback program that connects to your mobile network.

Once you have reached a certain amount, it is possible to multiply network fees and get some months for free.

You can earn by adding the Visa or Mastercard that you use to shop.

It can be used on the following networks

  • 3
  • Any
  • Gifgaf
  • Lebara Mobile
  • Licamobile
  • PayG now
  • O2
  • Vodafone

You don’t have to click on a specific link every time. Just shop and it will all happen automatically.

It works in both online and offline shopping.

Double the savings/cashback

You can still receive cash back via other sites, such as Quidco or Quidco Highest cash back Plus use Airtime Rewards.

You should always double-check if you’re eligible to buy online.

For example, argosIt offers a 0.5 percent cashback on Quidco, and a 2 percent bonus on Airtime Rewards.

It all adds to the total.

Complete the challenges

Airtime Rewards regularly offers challenges that allow you to earn extra cash for achieving certain goals.

For example, currently until the end of February you can earn an extra £2 if you spend at least £5 at four Airtime Rewards retailers.

As always, you will receive the standard cash back percentage offered to retailers.

But don’t buy the stuff for the sake of it, of course — there’s a hidden trick.

Get cashback as a flash reward

Cashback rates can vary from one store to the next, but some stores will offer a lower price for a limited period.

These items can be purchased at the right time to save even more.

For example, right before Christmas, shoes It has a 50 per cent cash back day, so I was able to get £3.65 back from that.

Continue to receive additional rewards

Additional rewards can be found at Airtime Rewards TwitterThe account.

So if you know you’re making a purchase that day, that’s helpful — but obviously don’t do it for the sake of it.

Cashback tracking

I track all cashback from Airtime Rewards.

It wasn’t always tracked correctly, usually because I made the purchase 10 minutes before midnight when flash sale was in effect.

Airtime Rewards provided me with proof of purchase and they were able to resolve it quickly.
