It is very close to Heathrow, but it has personality unlike other airport hotel. This makes it a great choice if you are traveling with children.

There’s lots of fun artwork on the walls. Many rooms are decorated in a quirky way. My bedroom has a large mural of an astronaut and his giraffe peering through the fake window in the bathroom.

If you are staying on-site, make sure to stop by Westcombe’s restaurant on-site, which serves breakfast and lunch as well as dinner.

For my evening meal, I chose a delicious chocolate brownie and marinara with a glass or wine.

A full menu of cocktails is available for those who are serious about booze.

The £13 hot breakfast buffet has everything you would expect from a full English as well as continental options.

Each one is extremely comfortable Ibis Suite BedThere are tea and coffee making facilities as well as wifi.

The best thing about the rooms was the peace and quiet. This allowed me to get the uninterrupted sleep that I needed.
