Amazon replied that the prices set above were determined by third-party vendors and that there are better deals elsewhere on Amazon, especially through Amazon Fresh.

Some of those reading this may have no sympathy for anyone who pays an Amazon seller £33 for a house of chocolates without checking its true value. They might be the same people who can shop at Christmas markets and other beautiful places at leisurely pace. They might wonder what kind of fools would buy such expensive feed?

I’ll tell ya who. People like me are the ones who try to please everyone, even if they fail, in the midst of the December to-do lists madness. If you are in this camp, I hope this article provides some reward.

Remember that, as wonderful as Christmas is, Amazon and its “third-party” sellers can sometimes be less generous than Santa Claus.

This is why I bought all of the Christmas chocolates at Sainsbury’s this holiday.
