Great Pottery Throw Down Judge breaks down in tears as contestant smashes work in emotionally charged scenes

During the final episode of Great Pottery Throw Down, one of the judges became very emotional.

Siobhan McSweeney hosts the Channel 4 quiz show on Sunday nights.

Keith Bremer-Jones, the show’s judge, was in tears after seeing contestants smash multiple pieces of pottery.

Keith was joined by Rich Miller, a fellow judge, and challenged the contestants to make Christmas tea sets and handleless milk jugs.

Christophe, 36, was one of the show’s hopefuls. He struggled to grasp the mud.

Kristoff, unsatisfied by what he’s done thus far, tells Keith “I don’t believe I’ve thrown out anything that badly.”

Keith then struck his creation with the fist before throwing them in the trash.

He told the contestant, “I think we can get rid of that part,” before breaking another piece. He then added, “That is a trouser!”

Christophe said to the judge, “I did my best.”

Two milk jugs were also designed by the architect, but he wasn’t completely satisfied with them.

Keith admitted that he was “reluctant” to let go of the two, before he started to choke.

He eventually continued: “I know what it’s like, you know.

“We are asking you to do this task under pressure. It’s a daunting task.”

Kristoff replies, “Yeah that’s totally new for me,” Keith replies, and Kristoff responds, “Well done Kristoff, because at least you’re trying.”

Twitter was taken by viewers of the show to comment on how touching it was to witness a man express his emotions.

One wrote: “Yeah it might be pot, but Keith crying about #potterythrowdown can be a positive for all men.”

They concluded, “It amazes my every time and it’s so thankful for that.”
