Superintendent Ed Wells of the Metropolitan Police stated: “Any shooting, however, is unacceptable. However, that multiple people, including two children were injured in a shooting on Saturday afternoon is appalling.

“Our thoughts are with all the victims, but in particular with the seven-year-old girl who is in a life-threatening situation and with her family.

He said that the investigation into the attack was already underway and included local officers as well as specialized investigators.

“I can assure the communities of Camden and beyond that we will do everything we can to identify those responsible and bring them to justice.

“Local residents should expect to see an increase in police presence in this area over the weekend as we continue with this investigation.”

Soella Braverman, Home Secretary said Saturday that she was deeply worried about the Euston shootings this afternoon. The shootings involved a seven-year old girl and several other women.

My thoughts and prayers are with them, their families, and all of you.
