One to keep an eye on

Harry Kane, the star Kane is England’s main striker and captain. He has won the Golden Boot at past World Cups, and is now securing his spot in the starting line up. He’s finding his form and scoring nearly a goal per match for Tottenham in the Premier League this year. He can also drop deep to pass passes across the lines to faster teammates, which will prove useful against solid defenses.

Jude Bellingham: Breakthrough TalentIt was a question of whether Gareth Southgate would allow him enough time to show his talent at the World Cup. However, England’s recent 3-3 draw against Germany has changed that. At 2-0, Bellingham, a 19-year old, dominated midfield and launched the Three Lions on the counterattack. He broke play, made runs in the penalty area, won a penalty and slid in odd balls while also earning a place as a starting player. Bellingham is the third teenager to score in four consecutive Champions League matches. Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland and England all have real talent.

prediction

England should have enough depth and quality to beat Senegal. However, Gareth Southgate’s team will likely face France, which is a much more difficult test. Les Bleus certainly had a lot to offer at the time, particularly with Kylian Mabappe’s amazing form. All things considered, the Three Lions would likely make a nice return with the eight remaining. Eliminated in quarter-finals.
