A Brit man drowned trying desperately to save his family in a river on holiday, was called “selfless”.
Remo Douglas, of BristolHe pulled his girlfriend & daughter out of the sea. JamaicaHe was killed before he was reunited with his 11-year old niece.

It is believed that the family was swimming in the river when it began to rise in heavy rain.
Remo, aged 34, saved his girlfriend Nicola Lee Cameron, and his daughter.
He returns to help his young niece, but the two are drowned.
Conat Douglas was Remo’s grieving brother. He said that his family members and friends were “heartbroken”.
He said BBC: “He would lighten up any space he was in. Very bubbly.
“Everyone is shocked and heartbroken. It’s devastating for me. He was my brother, and my friend.
“He was a funny guy who loved making people laugh. He was the life of the party.
Lauroy Allen, Remo’s friend, called him a “beautiful person” when he released a song. FundraisingTo pay for his funeral.
He stated that Remo’s family had planned a Jamaican funeral for him and “another occasion” to celebrate his life.
LeRoy wrote: “This way all his friends and family can come together to remember a special man who lost his life trying to save another, a true hero.
“A selfless act that we will never forget.
“Remo Douglas was an amazing soul who was adopted very early.”
