“Steel Nerve 2” Exhibition to Feature Banksy and Other Renowned Artists

Some of the world’s most notable artists, including Banksy, are set to showcase their work in the upcoming “Steel Nerve 2” exhibition in Northamptonshire.

The Rooftop Arts Centre, in partnership with Brandler Galleries, will host “Steel Nerve 2,” an exhibition and charity auction focused on Contemporary Urban Street Art.

This exhibition brings together works by acclaimed artists, including Banksy, Blek Le Rat, Connor Brothers, Copyright, Ben Eine, Tracy Emin, Damien Hirst, and My Dog Sighs. Running alongside the exhibition, a silent online charity auction of selected pieces will raise funds for the Rooftop Arts Centre, a registered charity.

“Steel Nerve 2” will be open from 6th to 16th November, with a reception and final auction bidding held on Saturday, 16th November, from 6pm to 8pm. The Rooftop Arts Centre will welcome visitors daily between 11am and 4pm throughout the exhibition.

Admission to both the exhibition and auction is free; however, registration and eBay access are necessary to participate in the silent auction. A number of works on display in the gallery will be included in the auction, viewable online via the Rooftop Arts Centre website, with eBay bidding open from 7th November.

For over 11 years, the Rooftop Arts Centre has been a charitable organisation committed to enhancing community engagement in the arts through exhibitions and workshops. With 15 resident artist studios, it provides local artists the opportunity to create, exhibit, and support emerging artists.

Gallery Director Dinah Kazakoff shared, “We are excited to be presenting Steel Nerve 2, following the success of the 1st Steel Nerve, as we continue to strive to improve the cultural profile of the town, and make the arts accessible to all in the community.”

John Brandler of Brandler Galleries said, “I am thrilled to be working with Rooftop Arts again on this wonderful art project in Corby. The collection shows the rise and transformation from what was thought as criminal art into high art. Corby’s artistic rise with the creativity and energy of the Rooftop Arts Centre is upstaging many bigger venues.”

The Rooftop Arts Centre is located in New Post Office Square, Corby Town Centre, with convenient transport links.
