Britishvolt once teased investors about its future IPO prospects in investor presentations. It was reported that investors were considering it last week. bailing out the company by cutting 96 per cent from its previous price of £774m.
A spokesperson for Britishvolt declined comment.
Investors are said to be trying to spin around the company’s assets, with rival battery manufacturers interested in the Britishvolt site near Blyth.
