After being scratched in her car by a lawyer, a woman is seeking a restraining or protection order

Mercedes’ lawyer scratch stalker £120,000 has been banned from contact with him for 10 years.

Joanne Maxwell (34), vandalized Diarmaid Bros. 53 luxury sports engine, carving an inscription on the hood.

Maxwell, a disgruntled former client, also accuses Bruce, Simon Gilmore, of abusing him, and pelts him with eggs.

Unknown liquid was also used to spray an employee after it appeared at the Motherwell, Lanarkshire law firm.

The vendetta began when Maxwell was denied access legal papers. But it escalated to the point police were forced to intervene following an attack on a staffer in the street.

Maxwell of Motherwell confessed to harassing Bruce between January 2021 – March last year during a Hamilton Sheriff’s Court hearing.

K.C. was expelled by Sheriff Ross MacFarlane. Maxwell was forbidden from contacting Bruce, Gilmore’s colleague, and two female employees of his company for a period of 10 years.

She was also prohibited to enter or loiter near the Motherwell law office.

Maxwell was also required to perform 200 hours of unpaid labor and was placed under supervision for three-years.

The court heard that the damage to the Mercedes cost more than £1,000 to repair.

According to a legal source, Maxwell’s behavior spiraled out of control and an employee was attacked on the street. This was the final straw and the police were called.

She could have been sent straight to jail, but she would have to walk a tightrope with those restraining orders.

“Even the slightest breach could get her in serious trouble with the court again, and the message to stay away from these four people has been made very clear.”

Sheriff MacFarlane stated that all of this was a direct alternative for custody.

Bruce the Lawyers is one of the busiest criminal defense companies in Scotland, with offices in Motherwell Airdrie, Glasgow and Glasgow.

Bruce declined to comment.
