Many incoming flights were asked to hold at departure airports in order to relieve pressure on US destinations. This is likely to impact a lot of flights from Canada.

Air Canada notified passengers about possible disruptions earlier in the day and asked them to check the status their flights after the FAA outage in America.
Other Canadian airlines, WestJet and Porter, experienced minor delays of 16% and 7%, respectively, but have fewer routes to the United States.
