The Jamal Shallal couple who died at the spot was described as “loyal and selfless” and “loving”.
Their families said that Rachel and Helen Patching (33 and 52 respectively) will be remembered for their “endless laughter”, and were “a credit both to themselves and the community.”

Kent couple were pulled from the icy waters at the Four Waterfalls Walk by Brecon BeaconsLast week. They went on vacations during the New Year holidays.
After a five-day search, two bodies were found. Police are still investigating how they got into the water.
Their families said: “We are devastated to have suffered such a tremendous loss after the news of Rachel and Helen passing away at the ages of just 33 and 52.
“They were a devoted, selfless, and loving couple who made an enormously positive impact on everyone they met.
“Their love of animals and dedication to lovingly caring for them over the years has truly made them a wonderful credit to themselves and the community.
We will always remember their endless laughter.
“No words can express how much they are loved and appreciated by their family, friends, and coworkers.”
One of the bodies of the woman was found within hours after entering the water on Wednesday and the other Saturday.
In a statement, the families added: “We would like to thank all who have provided such generous support and guidance, including the unwavering commitment of the Brecon Beacons Mountain Rescue Volunteers, the Police, National Police Air Support, Central and West Wales Fire Service, National Resource Wales and Welsh Ambulance Service and Powys County Council for selfless help in such a difficult time.
“We would now like time to grieve, and ask for privacy to do so.”
Dyfed-Powys Police stated that the search was impeded by “high, fast flowing” waters.
It’s generally very safe there, but as with all other areas in Beacons there are risks.
“Water will be very cold at this point of the year, you won’t survive long, and we’ve had a lot rain, so rapids will form.”
Investigations will take place at a later date.
