Maria Wilson was the first to Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK posted the image along with the caption: ‘Not much I get a bargain but I get £12 for all this (excluding towels).

“That’s some cool Christmas! Gift sets for 20p and 38p. Asda Rochdale.”
The post quickly garnered over 2,400 likes and was flooded with comments — and it turns out that people have the same two concerns.
Some wondered if Maria left any items at a discount for other shoppers. Others suggested that the gifts weren’t very thoughtful.

“Is there anything left?!” one asked.
Another commented, “Isn’t Christmas supposed to be about giving a gift?” You think the person would love it. Don’t just give everyone body lotion gift sets.
“He’s just an honest cop in my opinion. Each one is his own!
The third said, “I’m glad you’re not on my Christmas list.”
Meanwhile, a fourth added: “I am amazed that gift sets are still so popular.
“Do they really get used to them?” Or do they regift or donate to charities?
Mariah was quickly defended by others and congratulated on the discounted gift sets.
