After responding to an insensitive comment made by his father’s funeral, Kevin Bridges refused let a troll exploit him.

Kevin, 36 years old, spoke out about his father’s health issues.

One Twitter user wanted to remind comics of how he joked about Queen Elizabeth II in comedy shows following her September death.

They asked the star: “Will he make fun of it like he did with our queen?”

Kevin responded, “Ofcourse I’d laugh about that… Do I know where I can find a good suit to be a funeral partner?”

Fans rushed to support the comedian with one commenting: Thoughts and prayers, and love with you! It’s not an easy task, but it can be done.

Another joked that Kevin was feeling better and said: “Slaters will give a decent number @kevinbridges86. If we don’t laugh, we salute the m8!”

Kevin, his beloved father, was believed to be at his side when he died, along with his mother Patricia (and other family members).

A family friend said that Patricia, his wife of 47-years, was there with his sons John, Kevin, and Kevin’s wife, Liam.”

They continued in The Sun: “Andy, Kevin’s mentor, took him to his first party as a teenager. In recent weeks, he has been reporting on new material.

“Andy was hilarious, and that’s where Kevin got the inspiration for his comedic skills.”

Andy is believed to be in “poor physical health” and Kevin has previously spoken out about how proud he was of his father for beating depression.
