Football: FA Cup, Friday through Monday, ITV, and BBC

The Third roundThe FA Cup is here and all 20 Premier League clubs will be taking part in the competition over the next four days.

Round Three begins tonight, as Manchester United host Everton (ITV1, 8pm) Old Trafford. United will be looking for their first FA Cup win since 2015-16 season. Everton will use this competition to seek a much-needed victory.

Premier League side Leicester City travels to League Two side Gillingham Saturday (BBC1, 12:30 p.m.)Wrexham – who became famous with Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhinney, two celebrity owners – moved to Coventry (S4C via iPlayer – 5:30 p.m.Newcastle United host Sheffield Wednesday in the English Premier League (BBC1, 6 p.m.)Anfield is home to a first-class match between Liverpool and Wolverhampton (ITV4, 8pm).

Sunday sees Leeds moving from the Premier League to Wales to face Cardiff (ITV1, 2pm)The weekend tie between Manchester City, Chelsea is undoubtedly the most famous (BBC1, 4:30 p.m.).

Round Three concludes Monday with Arsenal’s trip towards Oxford United (ITV1, 8pm)Not only the fourth round draw, (Played Jan 27-30)..

Golf: Tournament of Champions, Thursday through Sunday, Sky Sports Golf

The Tournament of Champions in Hawaii kicked off last night’s first round of golf. (Continues tonight to Sunday 11:59pm, Sky Sports golf).

Cameron Smith has not returned home to the US Ocean State in order to defend the title he earned last year, due to his commitment with the Saudi Arabia-backed LIV Golf Series.

The Australian won last year but you had to go back in 2010 to see another American. So it seems likely that we will see a home win this year.

However, Spaniard John Rahm was chosen as the pre-tournament favourite with Scotty Scheffler and Xander Schavelli. Justin Thomas was also in the running for the $15 million purse.

Rugby: Gallagher Premier Club, Friday through Sunday, BT Sport

The Premier League is back for one last round before the 11 teams split from a fortnight’s European rugby.

Head-of the-table Muslims travel from Islam to Gloucester (Friday, 7 :45 p.m., BT Sport 1)They want to build on their win at Exeter by beating the top four teams.

Leicester Tigers, the current champions, travel north to Newcastle (Saturday, 2pm BT Sport 2) After their humiliation at the hands the Sale Sharks, the team is looking for a win.

Harlequins hosts a shark sale (Sunday at 3:00pm, BT Sport 1We want to end the rut of two consecutive defeats. Sale are currently in second place in the league. We will be trying to secure the four points in London.

Tennis: Sunday, BT Sport, United Cup

The Fed Cup’s inaugural edition concludes Sunday with two teams representing the United States, Italy and Poland facing off in the Sydney final. (Sunday, 2 a.m. BT Sport 2).

Great Britain was eliminated in the ‘group finals’ stages. However, some of the top players around the world – including Iga Swaitek – are still in contention as of this writing.

With the Australian Open next week (Monday 17th, Eurosport)This competition awards a prize of $15,000,000 to the winners, as well as all ranking points.

American Sports: Saturday & Sunday NFL, Sky Sports

The Super Bowl countdown continues with Week 18, the NFL regular season.

Before the Titans face off against the Jaguars in their second head-to-head match, the Chief opens the Bills in Raiders. (Saturdays at 9pm, Sky Sports main events).

Sunday night will see the Bills host Patriots, before the Giants travel to Eagles later in evening. (Sundays at 6pm, Sky Sports main events).

The Chiefs are the most likely to win the Super Bowl this year, followed by the 49ers, Eagles, and Bills.
