“We can confirm that Jeremy remains in a stable but critical condition following a weather-related incident while shoveling snow earlier this morning,” the statement stated.
“His family is there for him and he is receiving excellent medical care.”
The Washoe County Sheriff released a statement following the accident. He stated that he responded at the Mount Rose Highway in Reno to a “traumatic injury” and then coordinated with other agencies to arrange the trip.
The sheriff noted, “Mr. Renner was the only one involved. The sheriff said that the office is currently investigating the incident.
The Lake Tahoe area was hit hard by a winter storm on New Years Eve. Local newspapers reported that 35,000 homes were without power in Washoe County, Carson, Douglas and Storey counties in northern Nevada.
