Jan. 6 Commission Unveils Report, Describes Trump Conspiracy

The House Ways and Means Committee approved the release of the documents last week. It revealed that Donald Trump’s taxes were audited only once in his four years of office, although annual audits were required.

Ms. Griffin revealed that Jared Kushner directed the removal of the Biden government from planning for Covid-19 following the 2020 election.

According to transcripts of a dramatic interview with Trump’s Jan. 6th, it took five hours to convince him to retract his tweet about shooting robbers.
The House Select Committee, which was investigating the Jan. 6, riot at US Capitol, released a wealth of transcripts from interviews with key Trump figures on Thursday.
Alyssa Farah Griffin, a former White House press officer, was one of the documents.
Ms. Griffin, in her testimony before this committee, recalled one incident in June 2020 during the heights of the racial injustice protests in response the police killing George Floyd.
In a now-famous inflammatory tweet, Trump appeared to encourage people shooting looters.
“When the looting begins, the shooting starts!” He tweeted.
January 6, Ms. Griffin informed the committee that everyone was horrified by his post, and that even Fox News, a former ally, had criticised his comments.
She stated, “It was terrifying for me and all living, breathing persons.”
“I walked into his office—and we were devastated—you know, even Fox News was like, ‘This is terrible. I walked into his office and said, “Sir, you’ve got to walk that to the back.” I was like, “Even your friends will be following you.”
Griffin said that despite numerous attempts from his inner circle, Griffin was unable to retract the tweet. She claimed it took her five hours just to convince the former President to send a tweet that was “at minimum somewhat moody.”

Dan Gelenter, the editorial’s author, stated that Trump’s third-party bid for the presidency would result in the inevitable outcome of Trump’s 2024 election being handed over to the Democratic nominee. Glenter suggests that this result could be justified as a punishment for the GOP’s disapproval towards Trump if he loses the nomination to another candidate.

Today, Trump’s tax returns are available
Donald Trump’s tax records will finally be released Friday. This puts Trump’s finances and business practices squarely in the spotlight, at a moment when he is also facing criminal charges in connection to the January 6th riot at the US Capitol.
The House Ways and Means Committee voted last week to release the documents, with some revisions to sensitive data such as Social Security numbers and contacts information.
The committee obtained six years of Mr. Trump’s personal and business tax records from 2015 to 2020, while investigating a report that the Internal Revenue Service only audited Mr. Trump’s taxes once during his four years in office — even though the annual audits were mandatory.
