The hack was not addressed publicly by the presenter, who has since joined TalkTV as host for his uncensored show, having previously left GMB.
He is a regular user and shares his opinions on topics that range from Cristiano Ronaldo’s status among the greatest footballers ever to The Duke & Duchess of Sussex’s Netflix series.
The Metropolitan Police stated earlier this month that no further action would take place against a man who sent death threats to Morgan and his loved ones online.
Morgan complained on Twitter of a “huge concern with how big tech manages its safety measures.”
It comes after Gillian Keegan’s account as Education Secretary was hacked on Christmas Day.
Her account replied to several tweets with links to websites advertising cryptocurrency such as bitcoin.
Representatives from Morgan and Twitter were contacted for comment.
