Love Islandstar Tasha GhouriAfter her stint on The Weakest Link, she received negative reviews.
Tasha was among the cast of the Christmas special, along with Sam Nixon and Natalie Cassidy. However, she was forced to leave the show early after answering a question about Concorde.
Hosting Romesh Ranganathan The 23-year-old asked: “In transport, which commercial aircraft built in a joint venture between the UK and France can fly at twice the speed of sound?”
Tasha replied “Airplane 2”, before being voted off.
In a later confession she said: “The moment I froze and that my heart was beating so quickly. You don’t know which question to ask.
I think I understand the Concorde question. I’ve never heard about Concorde before.
Because Jet2 is well-known, I chose to fly with them.
“I just thought, you know what, I caught my gut and just said it.”
Fans didn’t take her mistake too kindly and many took it to heart via social media.
Tasha sent this tweet: “I guess people forget about Weakest Link. I didn’t hear most questions read so fast, and it was the first time that I met Romesh/heard him speak.
I did it for fun and charity. People take it very seriously. I laughed at it and had lots of fun with it.
She received lots of support, with one fan writing: “Keep it entertaining and don’t let the haters get in your way,” while another wrote: “You did the best that you could do and that’s all anyone can ask for!”
Andrew Lou Page, Tasha’s boyfriend on Love Island, was the first deaf contestant to appear on the reality show.
She was open about her “superpowers” while at the villa, and later with her husband. Andrew recently got a tattoo dedicated to her.
