Bettors can count on the combination of Tony Cruz, a joint-leading trainer, and Hugh Bowman, a legendary jockey to bring pre-Christmas fun when they team up with Five G patchThe Venus Handicap over 11 Furlongs (11.15am at Happy Valley) on Wednesday.
11-furlong races are rare in Hong Kong. They are considered marathons by locals. There are only three and half races on Hong Kong’s racing calendar.
The norm in the area is to buy runners and runners of middle distance. Owners can gamble on potential residents by spending several thousand dollars.
Lam Wai Ying didn’t hesitate to spend a lot on the Five G Patch. Lam Wai Ying had a four-year-old who had a perfect two-of-2 record in Ireland when trained by Joseph O’Brien and won over nine. he was moved to his new home.
Camelot, the Derby winner’s son, let his rivals struggle with Joao Moreira aboard over ten furlongs at Sha Tin in May. This was his fifth appearance for this territory.
Cruz said Cruz could see a bright future and Cruz suggested that Cruz could be aiming to win the crown by the end this season.
Things have not gone as planned since the restart last month. Two attempts were hampered by rough rides, which prevented him from appearing in race comments, or simply nothing.
He finished second behind Hit The Shot, market leader. Zac Purton, John Size yard, ridden him, but there are strong grounds to believe he is far better than his handicap mark.
Bowman is the best long-distance jockey, and he is able steer Five G Patch into victory.
