After teasing an “important announcement” on Truth Social earlier in the day, Donald Trump launched a NFT trading card deck featuring a superhero theme today.
The former president stated that he would sell the papers, which depict him in different superhero guises and riding an elephant Republican, for $99 per piece.
“My official collection of Donald Trump Digital Trade Cards is here! These limited edition cards are made with amazing art from my career and life. Collect all of your favorite Trump Digital Trade Cards, just like a baseball card, but hopefully even more exciting,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
After writing that he would make “important announcements”, Trump fuelled speculation on social media throughout the day.
