Even if England loses or does not win today’s match, it is still worthy of praise for their innovative approach to playing in Pakistan.

For years, Pakistan had been playing the long game to win. “Patience is the key,” Alastair Cook advised last week. But not anymore. Ben Stokes doesn’t care much about the history of the game, or what people say outside the dressing rooms, but he does care about being entertained.

It is. It’s hard to think of a more daring or reckless characterWho captained England before? Because of him and his declaration, this match has an exciting last day on a dead field.

Paul Collingwood, assistant coach, said that he sometimes thinks it’s crazy when he sits in the dressing room. “I know very well that I will never come up with some of these ideas that Ben and Baz have [Brendon McCullum]Come with. It’s amazing to see it go against the grain of convention. He is a genius when it comes.”

Why not? England doesn’t care. Collingwood stated, “We didn’t arrive here to paint,” Collingwood continued, after the most unusual day yet of Stokes’ captaincy. It was marked by a declaration which marked Pakistan’s 344 victory over India in four sessions.

England reached a tie at 6.7 minutes in their two innings. Harry Brook twice threatened to break the record for England’s fastest century-maker. Joe Root felt a little more daring on Sunday. left-handed hitStokes was the greatest seamstress of England’s past and bowled the bouncers using the new ball.

James Anderson was just tending at midnight when Ollie Robins took one wicket. This broke Azhar Ali’s finger and forced him to retire. Before Stokes got the big miss, Babar Azam bowled back and edged inside. The bouncer’s trick, which was used to roughen the ball and accelerate the reverse swing, worked.
