Xiaomi has presented one more addition to its wide range of smartphones with the Civi, a mid-range model that stands out for its design and screen.
The Xiaomi Civi, therefore, is yet another option from the company, alongside the recently announced Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE and in fact, it uses the same processor, a Snapdragon 778 5G . But while the priority of the Lite has been on a thin and light design, the Civi offers several advantages, such as a larger 6.55-inch screen that has the thinnest bottom edge of all Xiaomi phones. The refresh rate is 120 Hz, with the touch screen refresh rate remaining at 240 Hz. The panel, with OLED technology and 1080p resolution, supports HDR10 + and Dolby Vision, with a maximum brightness of 950 nits.
The screen also stands out for the curvature on the sides, which reminds us of the recent Huawei P50 but without reaching those extremes; But like that model, Xiaomi also boasts a lot of design, with three finishes in which pink stands out. Inside, nine layers of graphene will make sure to keep the processor cool.
On the back we also see the other big difference, the set of cameras that does not follow the design lines of the Xiaomi 11, and that reminds us more of the Vivo V21 . It is featured by the 64 MP main sensor, with an f / 1.8 aperture lens, accompanied by an 8 MP wide angle and a 2 MP macro lens. In return, the front camera is 32 MP and has an autofocus lens, so selfies should come out especially well.
Although the Xiaomi Civi does not have the fastest charging of the company, 55 W is not bad for the 4,500 mAh battery , which promises 24 hours of use. The speakers are stereo with Dolby Atmos and high resolution audio. Of course, it has 5G thanks to the Qualcomm chip.
The Xiaomi Civi is now available in China starting at 2,600 yuan (343 euros to change) for the basic version with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage; Its price and availability in Spain have not yet been confirmed.
