AdesanyaThe 33-year-old was looking to avenge his brutal knockout loss to Pereira in the last kickboxing match he participated in five years ago.
He suffered the same fate in front of an exhausted crowd at the most famous circuit in the world.
Adesanya enjoyed the possibility of settling the score against Pereira, stating to SunSport earlier in the year: “It definitely keeps you awake. I love fresh blood, fresh blood.
“Even Pereira, his fight, is still fresh blood because I didn’t see him in my element, which is real, nondisordered strike in the MMA.
