From the beginning, he would tell me, “I met your boyfriend.” (Image: Getty Images/iStockphoto).

I can’t stand by you, I’m not okay. I’m just keeping you back. He said it when he was done.

My friend and I met almost three years ago, before the lockdown began, in February 2020. It was great for a long while.

After our first date, he sent flowers to me thanking me for having a great time. He also gifted me with gifts. Eight months later, we moved into our first apartment. We lived together for nearly a year and a quarter without any problems.

We fell in love quickly, bought furniture together. We also bickered with practical jokes and laughed a lot. Both our families were supportive of us as a couple.

That was how I felt. It was a feeling that I felt was right. I was happy and stable, always laughing, and it was cool. Unless the love?

He has always known and understood my goals for myself and for our future – a great career, to marry, and to have kids. The end was the best. We spoke about her when we first began dating, but she didn’t mention her again. She just felt that everything was going as it should.

From the very beginning, he would tell me: “I met my soulmate” and “You are the most important thing in my life, I don’t know what I would do without you.”

You can imagine my surprise when he told me that he couldn’t support me due to my medical condition a few weeks ago.

I am unsure of my future problems. fertilityThey were pressing him.

He broke up with me. He couldn’t resist saying the words, but I understood what he meant. I said, “If it’s going to leave you, just do it.” He nodded. So that was it.

Look, I have a problem. EndometrialOne in 10 UK women is affected by the condition. After keyhole surgery, I was finally diagnosed in November. Since the beginning of my journey, I have been experiencing excruciating pain.

My partner actually picked me up from the surgery and put me back in shape for 2 weeks. He even slept on the couch to ensure that my stitches didn’t hammer at night.

I was told I should think about having children before I turn 30

He would cook every night, walk me and shower with no complaints. To be honest, it was a gift from God.

In September, I had to go to hospital because the pain was not subsiding. They advised me that I should think about having children before turning 30.

Endo can limit your ability to have children, but many women with this condition have had no problems having children.

It was a shock to hear that I was considering having children. This was especially after my surgeon said my ovaries were healthy and in perfect condition.

Keep in mind, I’m only 23 years old, with at most seven years to go before any serious decisions are made. Also, I had just started looking into options like Egg Freezing.

It wasn’t discussed for two weeks, and my boyfriend was very short with me when I brought it up. He became distant over the next two weeks. Although he wasn’t texting as often, he was always in a bad mood. I couldn’t help but to encourage him to get out of it.

We had a conversation about my medical issues. I felt like he was away from the house, and I asked him if his doctor had given me any stress-related information.

I regret saying it now and put his feelings above mine. I was the one who was really struggling with it, and it got so bad that I was crying. I decided not to tell him. He’ll get anxious and not want us to talk about it.

I wanted to reassure him in that phone conversation that we didn’t even know if that doctor’s statement was true.

I was unable to control a health condition, so I didn’t get any help.

He came to London from Southampton the following weekend and broke up with us. We had discussed his plans for the week and how excited he was about seeing me.

His reasons were that they didn’t want to lead me, that I couldn’t support me in my medical condition, and that he didn’t want to reach thirty and decide that it was not for him. married / marriedOr I have kids, and waste my precious time.

I told him that I didn’t want to be with someone who wouldn’t support my condition.

He was sobbing for over two hours. I managed to keep my eyes open and recollect myself. I don’t know why I didn’t want to give him the satisfaction of making him cry.

He even asked me if he wanted to stay afterward, which I answered “no” and pulled him out. He tried to hug me and kiss me the whole time, but I didn’t want that.

He assured me that he was always available to help me if I needed anything. I didn’t thank his for his kindness and decided not to contact him except to pick up furniture from our old apartment in his garage.

Our relationship ended abruptly. I felt like I had given her more than I received in return for a health condition that I couldn’t control.

I don’t blame anyone. I can’t control my health and don’t want anyone to “love me” until it becomes too uncomfortable. I also don’t want to be with someone immature. He was not mature enough and responsible enough.

I won’t allow anyone to make me feel unworthy or unwanted if they don’t value me enough. I’ve seen enough to know that I’m capable of more than this.

In a way I’m grateful it happened now, rather than five-years later.

Although I don’t know what the future holds, I know that I would be better off without it.
