Officials from China’s government said that China is ready for the continuation of its current approach to tackling Covid-19.
China’s National Health Commission officials said today at a press conference, that China will continue in a “dynamic clear” approach to COVID-19.
These comments follow claims that a former Chinese disease control official claimed yesterday at Citi’s conference that China plans to make “substantial” changes to its current strategy.
Chinese health officials stated that Covid will not be tolerated in China, and that the country will continue to take a tough approach to the problem, in keeping with the principle of “giving life and people first”.
China’s efforts have been to stop the spread and spread of the COVID-19 Virus. The government has imposed a series strict travel restrictions and lockdowns as part of its efforts.
Hu Xiang said that China’s current approach was “absolutely correct” and also more efficient and economical.
Analysts had warned that China’s policy of non-proliferation may have a worse economic impact than the war in Ukraine.
