The release of a new adventure game, ‘The Hundred Line – Last Defense Academy’, has been announced for early 2025.
Developed for Nintendo Switch™ and Steam®, ‘The Hundred Line – Last Defense Academy’ is a creation of Tokyo-based TooKyo Games Inc. and Media Vision Inc.
Kazutaka Kodaka, the genius behind the Danganronpa series, and Kotaro Uchikoshi, the creator of the Extreme Escape series, have collaborated for the first time to direct and write the scenario for this new game.
The game follows Takumi Sumino, who was living a routine life in Tokyo Residential Complex until an unknown assailant disrupts his peaceful days with his family and childhood friends.
An enigmatic entity known as “SIREI” enables Takumi to awaken the unique ability “Hemoanima,” which helps him escape his dire situation but then forces him to transfer to the Last Defense Academy.
Fifteen students are gathered with a mission, as directed by “SIREI,” to defend the academy for 100 days against the “School Invaders” and save humanity.
The “School Invaders” are a mysterious threat targeting the Last Defense Academy. Takumi and his friends will use the power “Hemoanima” to face the encroaching menace.
The Last Defense Academy offers a variety of facilities, and as players progress through the days and explore more, additional features will become accessible.
Fans of Danganronpa and Extreme Escape should be excited for ‘The Hundred Line – Last Defense Academy’. It provides a new story for fans to enjoy, with character design elements that will remind them of beloved characters from Kazutaka Kodaka and Kotaro Uchikoshi.
